Paramita Ray is a teacher and author. She has been teaching English at the senior secondary level for twenty years, both in India and abroad. She has written books and compiled anthologies of poems and short stories for middle school children. She has introduced many innovative classroom techniques to inculcate in students a love for the subject. Paramita is also in charge of the school magazine Chinai. She loves reading, writing, music, poetry and travelling.
