Lt Gen D V Kalra

Retired as Director General Ordnance Services, Indian Army, after 38 years of meritorious service, where he controlled inventory of 500,000 items, valued at Rs 50,000 crores. Experienced instructor and effective communicator acknowledged for his conceptual and analytical skills, he has made study and teaching of Supply Chain Management and International Logistics as areas of special interest. He is Fellow and Vice Chairman, Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) India, Distinguished Member Indian Institute of Materials Management and a Fellow All India Management Association. He was awarded both the Ati and Param Vashisht Seva Medals by the President of India.
