S. C. Gupta, former Professor and Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Engineering College, Kota, is currently teaching at the RKG Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad. He has over 30 years of teaching experience and has taught thermodynamics, thermal engineering, fluid mechanics and vibrations. His research papers have been published in various international journals, as well as in The Journal of the Institution of Engineers, India. Associated with the development of curricula in Rajasthan and Jodhpur universities, S. C. Gupta has also served as the principal, chief warden, and chief proctor at Engineering College, Kota, in addition to being the chairman of the Institution of Engineers (India).
