Dr Shatendra Sharma is currently Professor and Director of
University Science Instrumentation Centre Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. He has worked as Lecturer in Physics; Scientist with (DRDO) Defence Research and Development Organization, Ministry of Defence; Associate Professor, Jawaharlal
Nehru University; Director as well Advisor, All India Council for Technical Education Ministry of HRD; Founder Director, Advanced Instrumentation and Research Facility at JNU, New Delhi. He is working as a Professor since 1999 at JNU, New Delhi, India. He is currently working in the area of characterization and processing of nano-structures. He has authored and edited 12 books in Physics and
other engineering subjects and has published more than 50 research papers in referred journals.
Dr Jyotsna Sharma is currently working as an Associate Professor in Physics at K. R. Mangalam University, Gurugram. She obtained her Ph.D. in Plasma Physics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has over 12 years of teaching experience in Physics to engineering students. In recognition of excellent teaching skills
and significant contributions in other professional activities, she was bestowed upon with "Best Teacher Award" in 2011 by KIIT College of Engineering. The areas of her research interest are the study of instabilities in plasma & dusty plasmas and interaction of ion beams with plasma. She is actively engaged in research and has been awarded a research project by Department of Science and Technology in the area of plasma physics. She has published more than 20 research papers in international journals. She has also participated in many international conferences for the presentation of her research work.
