Anil Chowdhury has been associated with various management institutes as guest faculty and served in some of them in the position of a director. Professor Chowdhury has been a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi, and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, Kolkata. Apart from teaching, Chowdhury has also served at various senior management positions in the finance and accounts divisions of many public sector undertakings.
