Manjula Guru is a consultant in the areas of law and economics and is enrolled as an advocate at the Delhi High Court. She received her doctorate in public policy, her masters degree in agricultural law and an M.S. in agricultural economics from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. During this time, she was awarded the Agricultural Foundation Scholarship for Graduate Research (2001–02), and the Economics and Marketing Panel Award for Outstanding Research (2002). Dr Guru is a member of the American Association of Agricultural Economists and has published several papers in the areas of agriculture, law and economics.
