Partha Sarathi De is Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology, University of Kalyani, Nadia, West Bengal. He has eighteen years of teaching experience with more than seven years of experience at undergraduate level. He has participated in international workshops and national seminars. He has chaired sessions in the national level seminars. He has also contributed number of articles and book chapters in the journals and edited volumes. Besides this he has also completed two major projects as Principal Coordinator. He has also published a book (Women's Encounter with Disaster, 2010) as co-editor from FrontPage publications, Kolkata and London.
