Acquisition Editor - ELT (Editorial)


Be responsible for planning, development, and management of the ELT content.



• Achieve revenue targets of the editorial department and help the company to achieve over-all sales targets through such means as creating products, supplementary materials, sharing of industry information and competitive market intelligence



• Create 3 year product plan, profit and loss sheets, budgets for product creation looking at the viability of each project



• Commission authors/content writers to create materials as per the product and custom plan



• Maintain and be responsible for schedules



• Participate in the product development process by providing marketing evaluation and feedback, inputs from users



• Interface with clients with adequate product knowledge, editorial process flows, and timelines



• Generate new leads, anticipate changes in the market, understand product needs and initiate ne


Post Graduate degree/ M. Phil/BEd in English

• 2-5 years experience in publishing

Assistant Development Editor (School) (Editorial)


Assistant Development Editors based at Noida, are responsible for shaping manuscripts into rich and innovative textbooks. Development editors take theory and instructional test and through a detailed process of review, feedback and testing, design course and market-oriented learning solutions.


The ideal development editor has the ability to understand and facilitate a student’s needs, an author’s goals, and an instructor’s requirements, and synthesize them all into a successful textbook. They possess excellent language and editing skills, are creative and detail oriented, are organized and able to maintain tight schedules, and employ superb communication skills.

The candidate should be a Post Graduate in English / Maths / Chemistry with 0- 2 years of experience.

Regional Managers - West / South (Sales)


The Regional Managers will be responsible for organising and supporting all regional activities related to all PLT products and services. They will work in their geographical regions to build key relationships within the market. They will work with the ELT community to deliver candidate volumes. They will support implementation of local marketing and learning resource strategies.


First degree or equivalent
At least 8- 12 years of overall work experience at least 5 years of a managerial level experience
Preferably at least 1 year experience in the English Language Testing/ Teaching market
Ability to develop and build good working relationships locally and cross culturally
Have ability to empathise and understand those learning and teaching English in the local markets
Must have a real enthusiasm, understanding and passion for ELT
Highly developed oral, written and presentational skills in English and local languages.
Must be able to self motivate and work independently
Good people/ team management skills
International/multicultural experience will be a plus
A post graduate or equivalent qualification

Sales Executive: School - Mangalore (Sales)


1. Adoption of school books in his territory

2. Work closely with BOS of colleges in his territory for enhancing adoption base

3. Achieve sales targets

4. Service distributors. Collect orders and payments on time. Resolve distributors’ issues in consultation with Area Sales Manager/Senior Sales Executive.

5. Ensure availability and visibility of school books in the retail channel in his territory

6. Grow existing market by maximizing adoptions and develop new markets. Enhance market share across disciplines

7. Generate good publishing leads for both national and regional curriculum requirements

8. Help promotion department to update company’s database on regular basis

9. Submit weekly report on time.

10. Feedback on new markets and competitor activities.

11. Update CAMP on promotion stock and make new adoptions on CAMP regularly.
