Thummuluri Siddaiah

Thummuluri Siddaiah is a professor of management at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. He received master's degrees in commerce and economics from Sri Venkateswara University, and went on to receive an M.Phil. from the Delhi School of Economics. He received his Ph.D. in banking in 1984. Professor Siddaiah's academic interests include finance and information systems. He has taught courses in finance and information systems at the master's level for over 30 years, and has over 20 years' experience in teaching international finance to MBA students. Besides teaching and research, Professor Siddaiah is involved in executive development programmes and various administrative and advisory roles. He is the principal of Sri Venkateswara University College of Commerce, Management and Computer Science, Tirupati, and the dean of the University. He has also served as the registrar of Sri Venkateswara University. He has been a member of the Expert Committee of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Peer Team. Professor Siddaiah is associated with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) as an examiner, and is the vice president of the Indian Association for Management Development. His columns have appeared in newspapers, magazines, and journals such as The Hindu, The Financial Express, The Management Accountant, State Bank of India Monthly Review, SEDME Journal, Fortune India, Southern Economist, and Bhavishya.
