Hoshiar Singh is ex-Vice Chancellor, Jiwaji University, Gwalior. He was awarded the 21st Century Award for Achievements in an Academic Field by the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge. He has also held the posts of President of the Indian Public Administration Association and of the Indian Political Science Association.
